About the Founder
Silk Road Saffron was founded by Mujtaba Razmi, an Afghan-born entrepreneur who grew up around saffron fields and the families who care for them.
In 2015, he worked with Purdue University, Frontier Co-op, and Rumi Spice on saffron food-safety and quality improvement projects.
That experience shaped his mission: to deliver world-class saffron with scientific handling, honesty, and respect for the people behind it.
